I'm just finishing the comic for next Wedenesday, so I think it's safe to say that next week I'll be updating Monday to Friday again. After that I've got to figure out what's going to happen to Chip Shop, maybe twice weekly updates again like I used to or making each strip twice as long to help expand on jokes.

Blame illness for the lack of comics these past two weeks but to make up for that, Chip Shop Adventures will return this Monday (2nd Oct) and update every day until Friday! This might happen again the following week too, but for now only one week is certain.
Basically I want this storyline to be over with as fast as possible, plus the action in the last few strips would be stretched out far too thin over ten weeks.

Chip Shop Adventures #237 come to brighten up your dank, soggy Friday. It looks like we're slowly clawing back those visitors who left during the hiatus so welcome back to those who thought I was dead!

Well seeing my work on TV again was weird and exciting. It went very well and I was especially happy with the nice comments made. You can still catch my Mitchell and Webb animation every day till Thursday, all the info is in the previous newspost. Lots of things going on! Feels like old times and with old times comes old responsibilty. Like shouting at teenagers and whittling and also:

BIG NOISY BOOK OF DINOSAURS book and it's about 23 minutes of rockin' dino action, every type of dinosaur you can imagine, all the classic dinos from T-rex to Stegs to all the others. They're all classics basically. Search your relevant Amazon for it and if your kid loves dinosaurs or you love dinosaurs then buy it and we'll beat Jurassic Park as the highest grossing dinosaur thing. Together, we can do it!
02/07/09 - JULY HEAT.
FIRST UP:
Chip Shop Adventures #235!
SECOND UP: On THURSDAY 9TH JULY an animation of mine will air on the BBC2 RED BUTTON after THAT MITCHELL AND WEBB LOOK. After the main programme finishes, you can press the red button on your remote, magically transporting you to an extra round of Mitchell and Webb goodies, consisting of brand new animations and deleted scenes.
Somewhere in that mix is Asbo Zapruder, that's my one and the whole sexy deal is on a loop continuing until 4am. It's the same deal every day after that until the following Thursday, repeating from 9pm to 4am so there's plenty of chances to catch it. Have a good weekendaah.

revised the last strip as I really didn't like some of the art and all of the colouring.
The big chunk of good news is that I was commissioned to create an animation set to the comedy stylings of Mitchell and Webb! A whole host of excellent animators have worked on various sketches and you can see one or two a week by pressing the red button after their BBC2 show on Thursdays, 9:30pm. The first few have been fantastic, and it was a lot of fun to work on mine which goes out in three weeks but I'll remind you all again closer to the time.

Hullo! Hopefully I'll have some news about a short on tv this week, I'll update as soon as I know for sure. A while back I created the artwork for Enter the Circus of Fear by
Clown Corpse, a death metal group from Hull. The artwork for the limited edition 4-Track CD can be found
here. Also I've been dragged onto Twitter, I won't be using it properly for a while due to work but it'll be good for when I start updating again waaay in the future so that's here:

24/03/09 - Still on hiatus, sorry!
But the site has been quickly spruced up. Some buttons over here, a new car park over there (Both old and new can be found in the Artwork section), a selection of new links and also some much needed Chip Shop navigation. Here's a daft doodle to tide you over:
29/01/09 - THE DREADED HIATUS.
I suppose I'd better make it official, I've now got two animation jobs on the go so Chip Shop Adventures is going on hiatusssssss...sss. Boo and hiss, plus rats! At some point soon the site will be tidied up and hopefully some kind of RSS business will be installed so you'll know when it updates but I bid you farewell for now. I'm not even going to try to predict when it'll be back.
Here's something for February, National Condom month! This was made about two and a half years ago for a calander with fellow comiciky person Beth who used to make Raspberry Soda but I'm not letting another year go by while it sits in my artwork folder so it has become wallpaper:

23/01/09 - Happy New Failure!
I've started a new project and this one will definitely suck up all my attention so I'm afraid no chip shop this week, possibly one next week. I'll try and put something new but old up every time I don't update, this week: MAN WITH SHARKS HEAD FOR A HEAD. I did this a while ago for this
website, where you can download the template and submit your own drawing. Who will your drawing be holding hands with in a hippyish manner? Till next week!
